Cliffansty Farm sits on the top of the hill at Clevancy.
The classes are held in the spacious barn with wide views
down to the valley in the west. The atmosphere is calm
and peaceful, good for learning & relaxation.

It is easily accessible from the M4, two hours drive from
London, and we are very happy to meet anyone from
the train at Swindon or Hungerford.
A local taxi firm collects from Heathrow.

For residential courses, lunch and supper, cooked in the farmhouse kitchen,
by local professional cooks - either Kate Goodway or
Carole Glen – using Wiltshire produce, are eaten in the
farmhouse dining room around the great round table
where conversation and discussions rage, or in the
garden if the weather is kind.

For all courses, tea & coffee with
homemade cakes and biscuits arrive in the barn just
when you need it mid-morning and mid-afternoon.

From the barn you can walk up the track on to the
Marlborough Downs or relax in the house or garden…first
person there gets the hammock.

For residential courses, we all meet for a glass of wine before supper at 7.30
If you wish to continue working after 5pm or after supper
the barn is all yours.

When the barn is not being used for Calligraphy Courses
there are Exhibitions and our Christmas Treats weekend in November.
